Enjoy a serene afternoon sailing adventure on beautiful Banderas Bay, departing from Paradise Village Marina in Nuevo Vallarta.

This private charter is for up to 4 guests, offering approximately 4–5 hours of relaxed sailing, ocean breezes, and panoramic coastal views.
 
With a bit of luck, you might even spot whales or dolphins during your voyage!
 
Light drinks and snacks will be provided on board. Your experienced captain will ensure a smooth and memorable experience whether you’d like to sail, swim, or simply unwind on deck.

About the Boat 
  • “Hey Ya” (Beneteau Oceanis 390): “Hey Ya” is a lovingly restored Beneteau Oceanis 390, originally built in 1989 — a classic cruising yacht known for its comfort, stability, and timeless sailing lines.
  • Her recent performances in the Vallarta Cup and Banderas Bay Regatta proved her seaworthiness and spirit — earning a first and second place finish among much larger yachts.
 
About the Captain
  • Andy Barrow (Owner & Skipper): Your captain, Andy Barrow, is a lifelong sailor and retired electrical engineer who has personally refitted and raced “Hey Ya” throughout Banderas Bay.

Terms & Conditions: 
  • Sailing time approximately 4–5 hours for up to 4 guests.
  • Departure from Paradise Village Marina, Nuevo Vallarta.
  • Date and time to be arranged directly with donor or vessel captain, subject to weather and availability.
  • Expires one year from Gala date (November 22, 2026).
  • Non-transferable and not redeemable for cash.

The Bow Wow Gala is an annual fundraising event for The Sula Society, a dedicated dog rescue organization in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, committed to providing shelter, care, and love to over 300 rescued dogs. All proceeds go directly to The Sula Society.

    This item will be available in both the online auction and silent auction at the Bow Wow Gala.

     

    Here’s how it works:

    • Online bidding closes on November 20, 2025, at 12:00 PM CST.

    • The highest online bid becomes the opening bid for the silent auction at the Gala on November 22, 2025.

    • If you can’t attend, you may assign a volunteer to act as your proxy, ensuring your bids continue during the event.

    • If your proxy wins, you’ll receive an invoice after the event, and we’ll coordinate pickup or shipping (shipping fees may apply for winners outside Puerto Vallarta).

  • 🌐 Online Winners

    Gift Certificates:

    • Your certificate will be sent directly to your email inbox.

    • Simply print both the certificate and your winning confirmation email to redeem it at the participating business.
     

    Physical Items:

    • You’ll complete your payment online, then arrange a small additional shipping fee after the event.

    • A volunteer will contact you to confirm the cost based on your location.

    • Prefer to wait? We may be able to coordinate a volunteer or supporter traveling your way who can hand-deliver it!

     

    Local Pick-Up (Puerto Vallarta):

    • If you’re in Puerto Vallarta, you can pick up your item from a central location between November 26 – December 3.
     

    🎟️ Event Winners

    If you’re joining us at the Bow Wow Gala, you’ll be able to take your winning item or gift certificate home that night after checking out.
     

    💌 Proxy Winners (for Live & Online or Silent & Online Categories)

    If the item you bid on is listed in a Live & Online or Silent & Online category, here’s how proxy bidding works:

    • The online auction closes November 20 at 12:00 PM CST.

    • At that time, the highest online bid becomes the starting bid for the Bow Wow Gala on November 22, 2025.

    • Once the online auction closes, we’ll contact you to confirm whether you’d like to appoint a volunteer to act as your proxy bidder at the Gala.

    • Your proxy will bid on your behalf — up to your chosen limit — so you can stay in the game even if you can’t attend in person!

    If your proxy wins the item:

    • You’ll receive an invoice for the total amount due after the Gala.

    • Once payment is received, we’ll help arrange shipping, delivery, or local pick-up, depending on your location.

    • Please note that proxy winners located outside of Puerto Vallarta may need to cover an additional shipping fee for physical items.
