Brenda Griffin has a BA degree in Art from San Diego State University as well as a Teaching Credential for Art from San Diego State University. She has been studying art for over 50 years and had work in Eagle Art Gallery, La Jolla, California. Furthermore, in Artisians Art Gallery, Escondido, California, in Mermaid Cottage, Solana Beach, California and shown her work in many galleries.

This donated piece is a beautiful example of her expressive technique and mastery of color.

The Bow Wow Gala is an annual fundraising event for The Sula Society, a dedicated dog rescue organization in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, committed to providing shelter, care, and love to over 300 rescued dogs. All proceeds go directly to The Sula Society.

    This item is available exclusively for online bidding until November 20, 2025, at 12:00 PM CST.

    It will NOT be included in the live or silent auctions at the Bow Wow Gala.

    The highest bid placed online before the auction closes on November 20 at 12:00 PM CST will be declared the winning bid.

    Gift Certificates:

    • Your certificate will be sent directly to your email inbox.

    • Simply print both the certificate and your winning confirmation email to redeem it at the participating business.
     

    Physical Items:

    • You’ll complete your payment online, then arrange a small additional shipping fee after the event.

    • A volunteer will contact you to confirm the cost based on your location.

    • Prefer to wait? We may be able to coordinate a volunteer or supporter traveling your way who can hand-deliver it!

     

    Local Pick-Up (Puerto Vallarta):

    • If you’re in Puerto Vallarta, you can pick up your item from a central location between November 26 – December 3.

    If you’re joining us at the Bow Wow Gala, you’ll be able to take your winning item or gift certificate home that night after checking out.
     

    💌 Proxy Winners (for Live & Online or Silent & Online Categories)

    If the item you bid on is listed in a Live & Online or Silent & Online category, here’s how proxy bidding works:

    • The online auction closes November 20 at 12:00 PM CST.

    • At that time, the highest online bid becomes the starting bid for the Bow Wow Gala on November 22, 2025.

    • Once the online auction closes, we’ll contact you to confirm whether you’d like to appoint a volunteer to act as your proxy bidder at the Gala.

    • Your proxy will bid on your behalf — up to your chosen limit — so you can stay in the game even if you can’t attend in person!

    If your proxy wins the item:

    • You’ll receive an invoice for the total amount due after the Gala.

    • Once payment is received, we’ll help arrange shipping, delivery, or local pick-up, depending on your location.

    • Please note that proxy winners located outside of Puerto Vallarta may need to cover an additional shipping fee for physical items.
